Silica Sand and Volcanic Ash Fireplace and Fire Pit Filler
Volcanic Ash is used as a gas log pan filler for propane vented burners, in outdoor gas log burners or as a decorative effect by sprinkling on the firebox floor around the gas log set to simulate burned ash. Can also be used in outdoor fire pits. Volcanic Ash will not pack like Silica sand does under moisture.
Silica Sand is made of 30 graded silica sand. Use as a pan burner filler for natural gas burners only, not for use in exterior applications.
