These natural decorative stones complete any gas or ethanol fireplace. You can transform your existing indoor our outdoor fireplace with these beautiful heat-resistant volcanic basalt fireplace stones.
Fire Stones are hand selected for their exceptional decorative appeal and beauty, these are not your typical river rocks.
Available in 1" -2", 2" - 3", 3 to 4” and 4 to 6 ” stones. Please note not all colors are available in all sizes.
Each Fire Stone kit covers most small sized fireplaces, and weighs approximately 18 lbs. It's easy to mix and match set colors to personalize your setting.
Our fire stones are natural basalt volcanic stones, and have been known to be heat-resistant when used with gas and ethanol fireplaces, and under non-extreme heat and dry conditions. The fire stones have been tested with 90,000 BTU-burners, and used on units ranging from 45,000 to 180,000 BTUs. To assure optimal efficiency, please follow the fireplace or burner’s manufacturer’s recommendations and safety precautions. Occasional but rare cracking of a stone may occur, as no two stones are alike, or when used with higher BTU-units.
We do random testings on a unit with a 90,000 BTU burner. We have been selling them for several years, and we know that they have been used on units up to 180,000 BTUs. When used outdoors and with other media (i.e., lava rocks, etc.), these stones may react differently. Just like any other units, it is advisable to start an initial burn low temperatures to let the moisture evaporate, and use all necessary precaution with any other fireplace setup.
